465 guesthouses and home stays are registered across the islands on this site. They are not spread evenly — over half sit on a handful of islands, and on several others you are choosing between three or four.

Booking sites show what is listed with them, which is never the whole island. These figures come from the Ministry of Tourism's register of licensed facilities, so they count what exists rather than what happens to be online.
