How this site makes money

What an affiliate link is
A booking site pays us a share of its own margin when a guest arrives through our link. You pay the same price you would pay going there directly — the commission comes out of the platform's cut, not out of your pocket.
Every outbound commercial link on this site runs through a/go/ address so it can be counted, and carries rel="sponsored nofollow". Those links are marked where they appear.
What it does not change
- Which islands we cover. An island gets a page because travellers ask about it, not because it pays better.
- What we write about a place. If an island is loud, crowded or a long haul from the airport, the page says so. A guide that only ever enthuses is worth nothing to you and, in the end, nothing to us either.
- The factual data. Ferry times, fares and population figures come from sources we record, and carry the date they were checked. No partner influences them.
Who we work with
Accommodation bookings run through Booking.com and Agoda; excursions and dives through GetYourGuide and Viator, and in some cases directly with local operators. Where we deal with a local operator directly, we say so on the page.
