Dhiffushi

Dhiffushi sits at the eastern edge of Kaafu, at the end of the chain rather than in the middle of it, with a little under thirteen hundred residents.

That position is what gives it its character. It is further from Malé than the southern Kaafu islands and sees correspondingly fewer visitors, while still being reachable by public ferry rather than only by private boat.

The island has a long beach on its eastern side and a reef within reach of it — the combination most people are looking for and do not always find.
