Fehendhoo

One hundred and ninety-eight people live on Fehendhoo. That makes it the smallest inhabited island covered here — smaller than Thinadhoo in Vaavu, and by a wide margin the smallest community in Baa.

It sits on the same reef as Fulhadhoo and Goidhoo, and the three are close enough that a boat between them takes minutes. There is essentially no infrastructure for visitors beyond a guesthouse or two.

This is the far end of what a local island can be. Anyone considering it should be clear that the appeal is the absence of everything, not the presence of anything.
