Haa Dhaalu

Haa Dhaalu lies in the far north, roughly 300 km from Malé — far enough that the domestic flight is not optional. Hanimaadhoo has the regional airport and functions as the gateway to the northern atolls.

The north sees a fraction of the visitors of Kaafu or Ari. Reefs are less dived, islands less geared to guests, and the trade-off is between effort and having the place largely to yourself.
