Omadhoo

Omadhoo lies in the eastern chain of South Ari with a little over nine hundred residents. It is less visited than Dhigurah or Dhangethi and has a correspondingly short list of guesthouses.

The atoll's draw applies here as everywhere on this coast: the whale shark grounds along the southern rim, and reefs that are reachable without a long boat ride.

It is an island for someone who has already decided what they want from the Maldives and does not need options.
